Being Born- Kids Do Remember- September 2008

Children are smarter and remember a lot more than people give them
credit for... this is a conversation I had with Leah today, out of the
blue, totally unprovoked or unplanned... {Leah just turned 5 years
old}**
 
Leah: I liked being a baby.
Me: Do you remember being a baby?
Leah: Yep. I thought the whole city was a chew toy!
Me {laughing}: Do you remember being born?
Leah: Yes, I was pushing out!
Me: Pushing out?
Leah: Pushing out and climbing out
Me: Climbing...
